Prime Video's deal comes after Rogers Communications Inc. and CBC announced they would not renew their sub-licensing agreement for NHL games, ending the tradition of Hockey Night in Canada on the public broadcaster after 2025-26 season. This deal encompasses the entirety of Rogers' 12-year agreement to handle national rights across all platforms, extending to 2037-38 season, covering everything from regular and playoff matches. The streaming service will include at least 27 games each Wednesday, starting Sept, 30th. Prime members in Canada get no extra cost for this live action.
